Susan's Journey

Susan is one of The Realm’s many adult cancer patients. She was diagnosed with lobular breast cancer and had a double mastectomy in August of 2007. In 2011, there was a recurrence of metastatic stage 4 breast cancer. Susan has undergone several surgeries, chemotherapy and suffered two broken legs from falls during this treatment. She has had complete kidney failure, blood clots in her lungs, fluid around her heart and lungs, as well as had both ovaries removed. At this point in Susan’s journey, her oncologists wanted to start a new chemotherapy immediately, despite knowing lobular cancer does not respond well to chemo. It was around this time in June 2012 Susan decided to begin treatment with cannabis. Less than four months after beginning her treatment, a PET scan showered her cancer to be completely inactive; smaller in one area and completely gone in another. In March 2013, she had another scan which showed her cancer continuing as inactive and more areas where the cancer was completely gone. Susan continues to improve and continues in taking the Realm Oil.
